At first i used a router bed and spoil bord of MDF with a raster of 5mm holes.
After a while this bed lost a bit of strength and was hanging a bit.
This is a big problem when engraving, as the Z depth changed over the bed.
I used waterproof MDF as the base for the bed.
On top of that is a 12mm MDF spoil board with a 5cm raster of holes.
The spoil board is the max. work area of the mill, and can therefor be resurfaced if needed.
